Story #1 – Election 43

Undoubtedly the biggest story of the year was the federal election and the events throughout the campaign. The Angus Reid Institute released 15 studies beginning in late August, dealing with the fallout of Justin Trudeau’s blackface scandal[1], the rise of Jagmeet Singh[2] throughout the campaign, the policies[3] that Canadians wanted to see put forth and the regional dynamics[4] that ultimately kept the Liberals in power by the slimmest of margins.
